none of them work they need to get the word "mac" on peoples minds rather than "ipod" it would be nice to hear
'Hey im in the mac shop right not' rather than 'im in the ipod shop'

I don't call it the Mac shop OR the iPod shop... I call it what it is,
The Apple Store.

Yeah, I get the impression that only the old Mac geeks are the ones that don’t like the name MacBook Pro .

Everyone that I talk to that is new to Mac’s (including myself) prefer MacBook.
Most users don’t know that a Power Book is a Mac

Easy: Mac ProBook. There's a natural stop after the "o" that makes it sound more fluidic, similar to "PowerBook." The first syllable in MacBook is harsh and doesn't flow well into the next.

Your Mac's Specs
12" Apple PowerBook G4 (1.5GHz)
"Apple Macintosh PowerBook" (Why mess with it?)

"Apple Mac ProBook" (It does flow better.)

AppleBook? Nope. Skip that.

who knows....it probably took Apple six months to arrive at the name "MacBook Pro"

some of the posts I have read, not necessarily in this forum, but in others, sound like little whiny children..."I don't like the name, what's wrong with power, etc..."

...so its called a MacBook Pro! I'm saving up for one!!!
