I'm considering getting and installing a 1GB stick in my month old mini. I've read the "How To" articles, and have watched the video. I have a technical background, and, in another life many years ago, did consumer electronics repair. Still, it looks a bit intimidating. I'd just like to get a general consensus of "Did it worked fine", or "Did it, my mini case is broken", before I attempt it. Thanks!

I did it just make sure like mynameis said, use a thin putty knife, and slowly slid it along the crack on the bottom of the case, and it will pop off.

That's encouraging, thanks. I saw one "How to" showing the use of 2 knives, but if one works, that's even better.
