iPhoto / Facebook problems

For sometime I have been getting problems when trying to upload to Facebook from iPhoto. The sorts of things I have seen:

1. Completely fails to upload any pictures
2. Partially uploads some pictures
3. Apparent deletion of existing albums

In most cases eventually I get iPhoto crashes

Would appreciate some more ?

Pretty sure it's a Facebook coding issue. The only way I can get it to work is to put the photos in a desktop folder, and then use Firefox to upload to my profile from there.
It won't work in Safari, Chrome or Camino.
