How can I reasonably buy a spider solitaire game ?
I'd like it to be full screen and simple in design with
the 1 suit to 4 suits options.
I've tried off and on for years to find this game for Mac.
The allegedly free stuff is all false advertising.
I don't want to play online and I don't want any other games,
or a monthly fee.

BTW do ipad apps work on a macbook pro laptop ?

This is what I use. It does go pretty much full screen and works great.

Mac Spider Solitaire

And No Ipad apps are a totally different Architecture..

Thank you.

That one will do if it's the closest out there.
It isn't full screen & doesn't, strangely, offer 3 suits.
The price is O.K.

I'll wait to learn of others. If there aren't, Glenn's will do.

That is a interesting thing that it does 1, 2 and 4 Suits but not 3. If you click the Green button it fills the whole screen with just the Dock showing. That is probably as close with a Spider game as you will get to true full screen.

Solitaire Till Dawn is yet another (of dozens) of Solitaire apps for Mac that offer the "Spider" variation.

Solitaire 'til Dawn has more games, is more expensive and does not have
the easier ( 1,2,3 suit ) versions of Spider.
I could use a little How To for Full Deck -- how do I get an app ?

GOT IT Got full Deck installed & it meets my specs.
I think the Apple Store will charge at least $8 for installing it.
The process is Rawther Gray.

If it turns out there are hidden high expenses I'll "send it back" (I hope).

The game is free. The $8 is for an optional upgrade for extra games and backgrounds. You aren't charged for it unless you deliberately opt for it in the game.

It "wouldn't" download until I clicked the $7.99 . . . ?
I'm fine with that expense. I wonder what I missed ?

You downloaded "Full Deck Solitaire" along with "Game Pack 1" which is why the cost was $7.99. But that's OK, it's a great set of games and well worth the 8 bucks. :)
