.mov's And Quicktime

What codec do I need to download to be able to play .mov files. Right some of them just play with the audio, but with a blank white screen for video. I got divx 5.2.1, and that made it so i can play AVI's now but how do I do it for MOV.?

download isquint, its free and you can convert your vids to .mp4 so u can watch in quicktime

You dont need a codec to play .mov files. That is the native format of Quicktime. Sounds like you have other problems, maybe a movie with the wrong extension?
