External Hard Drive won't Copy

I have a 300 gb hard drive and can not copy any files over 2mb on to it. I have tried erasing the hard drive and everything i could think off. Does any one have any suggestions on how to get these files on to the hard drive. If things won't copy, does that mean the hard drive is broken? Thanks for any help.

but i have tried everyone it will let me.

I was thinking i might have to do with intel chip, but i don't know!
