Hi folks,
Just ordered a new Mac Mini. I have a Dell monitor which has both DVI-D and Displayport inputs.
The Mini comes with an HDMI to DVI adaptor.
What would be the best connection:
HDMI to DVI or Thunderbolt on the mini to displayport on the monitor.
Not even sure if I can use the Thunderbolt to display port scenario.
Bit confusing this Thunderbolt/Displayport thing.
TIA.

What is the native resolution of the monitor?

In that case, I'd just use a DVI-D cable with the adapter that's provided.

If the monitor had a resolution higher than 1080p, then you would need to use a mini-displayport to displayport cable.
