fileshares on mac mini-accessing shares from windows

Good day
i have setup filesharing in conjunction with open directory.
The fileshares are working fine with mac clients, however on windows clients (win7) the fileshares bomb out and do not stay connected.
There is no domain running in the enviroment. i am now trying to get a permanent mapping to the shares using a script. my script is as follows :net use g: \\172.27.82.95\fileshares kia123 /user:JAYSELANPIL3854\cher and its a .bat file saved on the startup off the windows machines. The error that is displayed when the script runs at startup is "system error 86 occurred"

That's a password error

Its also better to use better to use the servers netbois name rather than IP address

Its found at Network in System Preferences > Click Advanced > WINS.
