Hello,
I just sold my 17" PowerBook and I am confused on what to buy next. Can someone please help me out. Here are my options:
The cheapest: iMac 20" Dual Core Intel
The normal: MacBook Pro 15" Intel Dual Core 1.83Ghz + 20" Apple Screen
The expensive: PowerMac G5 2.3 Dual Core + 23" HD Screen
Basically I want to be working alot on photoshop and I want to start video editing. I know the best choice is to get a dual core G5, but its the most expensive choise and I am scared that the G5's will be outdated in a year or so and I will lose a lot of money. On the other hand there is the iMac and the MacBook Pro which has practically the same config. Though I am also scared to buy a Intel CPU because I dont know how effective it will be. Can someone please help me out. Thanks.
