Flaky Mail Junk Folder

Hi playing around I somehow deleted the junk folder in Mail. It's somehow back but not displaying any messages when the sidebar shows otherwise. Any help would be appreciated

Update.

Junkmailbox is not displaying in sidebar but the junk messages are going somewhere even though the leave in inbox is checked in preferences.

My attempts to add it back in - mailbox/new mailbox puts it in 'on my mac' as a standard folder icon.

The junk emails are displayed as a number there but nothing is showing in the actual folder.

Also junk is greyed out in the Mail/Go to from the pull down.
