Mid 2009 Macbook running latest version of Snow Leopard. I use Firefox for a browser.

When I click on a link, the page will start to load and then a Youtube.com link comes up. Is this a virus of some kind? What the heck is going on? Since I use Firefox constantly, I'm not sure if this will happen with Chrome or Safari.

Not a virus, but looks like a DNS hijack..what DOES happen when you use Chrome or Safari? If neither of those exhibit the problem, then you might want to fully uninstall Firefox and re-install it..

What sort so of extensions are you running on Firefox?

This just started last Friday. I have not tried Chrome or Safari, but I will start using Chrome and see what happens. I will also uninstall and reinstall Firefox and see if that does something. I'll check the extensions and post them here.

Thanks for the reply.
