G'day and welcome to the forums.

Don't know if you will achieve much as the Quicksilvers are now eleven years old. They did come in Dual Processor models up to 1GHz but the slow old memory and system bus speed will always hold things back.

Subject to the units being 867MHz or over, they will run leopard OS X.5 natively.

My understanding of this process is that the most gains came when software was written to take advantage of this option. When I looked a while back most of the programs I ran regularly wouldn't really make use of the extra horsepower. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
