Hi Thanks for your reply. The software is "TI-Nspire CAS Student Software".

It is installed in the app folder that is seen when opening the finder where there are all the other apps. Sorry but I am a beginner on mac.

Where should I find the main app folder?

Thanks again for your reply.

The only way I was able to get it into Launchpad was by typing the following into Terminal:

Code:
rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dock/*.db ; killall Dock

This is going to reset Launchpad back to default, so any moving around you've done will have to be redone.

Hi Mac9346 - I'm sure that you've already looked but for starters, was the app placed into a folder or on another screen in Launchpad? You might also want to explain what type of app was downloaded, and whether it works from your Applications folder in Finder? Finally, if the app opens, look in the Preferences sub-menu to see if there are options for its icons? Good luck! :)

HI
thanks for your reply. The app is TI-Nspire CAS Student Software. It is located in the Applications folder in finder and it opens fine from there but still not seen in launchpad. I checked and there are no othe screens in launchpad just to make sure that the app is not there.

Merged duplicate threads.

The answer is above to the same question you posed 2 months ago.
