Word 2008 does not work on Snow Leopard

Hi All,

I am a bit behind the times and have recently updated my old macbook (white one) to snow leopard. Since doing so I can use microsoft office 2008 but when I save documents then try to attach them to emails (in hotmail or yahoo) they wont open.

can anyone suggest a fix for this

The documents won't open at the recipients computer or something else? Can you open them after saving them locally?

I can open them on the computer once they are saved.

The problem only seems to be when I then attach them to emails. Its almost as if it doesnt recognise it as a word attachment.

I have sent the emails to my iphone and also to other peoples computers and the attachments don't open.

Use the uninstaller in Tools and install again, using the activation code, and then make sure you update to the current version. 12.3.5 is current with later Service Packs:-

not sure i still have the disks...pretty stupid of me really. Thanks though

Well no discs no install alas. Maybe time to invest in Office 2011.
