trackpad touchpad hard to click

I have to press hard on the trackpad / touchpad to register a click using my Macbook.
Found Solution;
Removed the battery and problem went away. Found the battery was slightly swollen, barely noticeable. Also cleaned compartment and back of trackpad / touchpad.

Mine was the same issue it was covered by apple care. There was also a loose screw that was causing it.
