Im form the land down under and Craigs List is pretty well non existent down here, but if you know how to upload a pic to Craigs List then the your main problem is getting it out of your iPhoto Library, and to do this Open iPhoto and then Photo's in the left column so you see the thumbnails, then just click and drag the photo that you want to your desktop and when you are done follow these instructions to upload to Craigs List

Cheers

How do I post a photo on craigslist from my iphoto library

When you post things on Craig's List...part of the process is "Upload Photos". Just do it...and you'll see what I mean.

Usually when you want to upload a photo from iPhoto, you click the Upload button on the page and a file browser will appear, resembling a Finder window. In the left sidebar is a list of sources, including Media>Photos. Click on Photos and your Photo Booth and iPhoto libraries will appear. Just select a photo and you're done!

Not technically a Mac question, but it could be that entered your reply-to email address incorrectly when you made the posting. Or try checking your spam or junk folder.
