Not sure if this Thread already exists cant seem to find it if it does.

My query is weither its possible to connect an Xbox 360 to my 21.5 inch 2011 iMac, so basically use the iMac as an external monitor. I've looked around the net for an answer but cant seem to find a definitive answer.

I imagine it would be a HDMI connection if it is possible. I've seen thunderbolt to HDMI adapters but are these just for an output from the iMac to your TV for example.

If anyone has any ideas or has managed to do this it would be great to know.

Cheers

That iMac has no video native video in of any kind.

You can use a video capture device that connects to your Mac by USB but I don't know of any that can handle HD in real time
