Guys,

Have tried to find the answer on here with no joy at all.

I was reinstalling Leopard earlier today and I stupidly didn't complete a back up prior to the install as I have an external HD for time machine etc. Completed the reinstall and went to look for my photos on the external hard drive and can't find any of them. Is there something I need to do to reconfigure or is there any way I can uninstall the reinstall?

I little worried that 13 thousand photos are gone for ever, but how can they be if they were viewable on the HD. Very strange.

Any help would be great as I have pics on my new born son on here :-(

Thanks
Rich

Did you do a erase when you did the re-install or just re-install? If you did an erase and then re-install, it's hard to get the pictures or anything else back. If you just do a re-install, then it's likely that the pictures are where they were before..

Where did you store the pictures?
