Does the track pad lose sensitivity with use??? (just wanted to know if it was a good idea to go in for a mouse...)

My mind reels with possible humourous replies. 
But for once I'll resist and simply say no, the track pad should continue to work like new for the entirety of its useful life.
That's not to say you might not prefer a mouse. I use both (Magic Mouse and MBP trackpad) and have no trouble adjusting back and forth. I will say that for careful work (like Photoshop Retouching) I prefer a mouse. For day-to-day use it doesn't matter to me.
