how do i get the right icon for my mac downloads on my dock

i accidentally deleted he downloads icon of my dock and i got it back but the icon isnt the same as it was before before it was like this

but after i got it back from deleting i it looks like this

please help how can i get it back the way it was at first

I believe that is a option of display the downloads folder as a stack or what not. Either CTRL+click or CMD+click on the downloads folder icon and see if you can change the type..I'll play with it once I get home tonight..

Yes Razor is correct. You need to under Options>Display As choose the Stacks and not the folder option.

Well, those links don't work for me, but I suspect the OP wants the icon to look like a folder with an arrow pointing down to a computer. That would be the Display As Folder option.
