Devices

When I hook my Garmin to my OS X pro book, I don't see it in devices in my applications. When I pull the cable on it, the comp tells me I disconnected improperly. It's killing me. Where can I find this device ?

What sort of Garmin is it and do you have any Garmin for Mac OSX specific software installed that you need to open ?

Nuvi and the software is open.

Is it set to automatically open when you connect?

Hello, Garmin Nuvi express program is open, but my Mac Pro still does not show that my Garmin is plugged in. My computer just doesn't recognize it's there. V strange and yes, I know it's me. Any hints ?
