Ipad mini screen replacement

So my lovely new ipad mini has hit the deck and screen damaged.

Noted one can get a replacement screen on ebay for around £60.00 BUT

And its a big BUT.

On this model you cant just clip in the new front screen.
You need now to have it de soldered and re solderd to home button and to logic board.

uhhhh. Help.

Does any one know the options, any one who fixes these, or apple exchange policies.

looking for any feedback and options.

If you purchased the Apple accidental coverage ($99 US) when you bought your iPad Mini new, you can exchange it for a new or refurbished model for $49 US. If not, you'll have to rely on Apple's exchange policy cost for a refurbished unit. At least that's how it's done here in the US. I don't know if it works the same way in the UK.
