Migrated and Microsodt Office now only works for one user

I just used Migration assistant to migrate fro an old iMac running 10.5.8 to tha new iMac running 10.8.2. In doing so all of the Microsoft Office applications work for just one user and all of the rest of the users just get the Microsoft Setup assistant and never actually make it to the office applications.

The solution is to reinstall Microsoft Office from your original CD. Make sure you have your product id which you will need when reinstalling.

And further Migrating does not work all that well with the larger Office and Adobe suites. As chscag says do a clean install and activate.
