install error message

im trying to install a patch for a music program
(traktor pro 2) and i get this install message


Cannot proceed with this update, because the application cannot be found in the stored installation directory.

If you have manually renamed or moved the application, move it back to its original location, then start this update installer again. Alternatively, use the original full installer to reinstall before using this update installer.

i tried moving the file around to different folders but i still get the same error message.
how can i find out where the "stored installation directory" is? where is the original location the message is talking about?
please help thanks

Did you try doing the above as stated in the error message? If you did and it still gives an error, contact their support.
