13" MBP - 2.7 Ghz, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM.
My iPhone, iPad and iMac are working great off my Wi-Fi, but for the last couple of days my MacBook pro has suddenly been having timeout errors. Why is this?

Have you done Software Update lately the last one addressed wi-fi issues in late model MBP's if I am not mistaken.

I tried it once the Wi-Fi came back. It took a few extra minutes to restart after downloading, but when I checked to see if it had installed all the items in the checklist were still there.

This happened three times.

Try changing the channel pre-set on your router.

You'll have an IP address to access it through. Something like 198.162.0.1

You can change the settings of your router and hopefully that will kick start the internet again.

I have had this issue along with thousands of others but this worked for me.

If you literally have no internet and cannot connect to the IP address connect a firefire cable from the modem to your Mac and access it that way.

Hope that helps.
