Sharing a photo via Facebook (not posting on wall)

Hey everyone, first timer here.

A friend and I have noticed that when we try to share photos via the Faceboook integration, it posts the photos to the album, but doesn't actually post it on our walls. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this, and if there is a possible fix to it.

Isn't iPhoto strictly for Mac's? I'm using an iPhone 5. Thank you for your reply though!

iPhoto is available for iOS as well.
