my mac bp got wet

hi everyone i recently dropped my mac BP in a tote full of water that was catching a leek it was submerged for about 3 sec and it won't turn on and i have important data on there that i need so i was wondering if i could just take out my hard drive and put it in my brothers mac BP if that would work if not plz tell me how to thanks!

Second, is mac BP a MacBook Pro? If so, we use the acronym MBP..just want to clear things up to avoid confusion as to what you are talking about..

You can certainly take the HD out and put it into another MBP, but as far as your MBP is concerned, read through the thread above and do a search in the forums for many others who've done the same thing as you and see what they did..
