I have a G4 Powerbook running OSX 10.5 – its a Power PC platform.
I’m trying to save select videos that are “embedded” in a page such as this one, as an example –

Spanx Entrepreneur Shares Advice | Video - ABC News

The downloads are solely for my own personal use.

I’m looking for a video downloader that will sense the vid playing and then automatically capture it. Vixy converter – now seemingly defunct – would do this. And I believe Jaksta does it – but – works only for OSX 10.6 and later on Intel Macs.

Down-them-all on Firefox might be an option, but for some reason it does not function on my Powerbook.

Any other options for my system out there?

Unfortunately this AfterDawn is not sensitive enough to pick up the signal except of youtube vids and the like. I tried it to no avail.
