uninstalling programs

hi everyone,
i recently downloaded things like jinga and tech smith and adobe captivate which i no longer need. do i need to do anything to uninstall them besides put them in the trash?

You can use the free AppCleaner, or pay a little and get the cool sound of AppZapper.

There are other options like these as well, but these are two that I know and like.

CAVEAT: For Microsoft, Adobe, Apple Pro and other "pro" type programs, use the provided uninstaller for best results.
