Early 2011 Macbook Pro Trackpad issues

Lately my mouse has been sporadic and has been clicking randomly. It keeps dragging things, going to my other desktops/dashboard, double-clicking, right-clicking, and entering preview on any file (pressing spacebar when clicking a file).

I am running Mountain Lion 10.8.2, 16GB RAM, 500GB HDD
Early 2011 MBP 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7

Try resetting the PRAM and see if that solves your issues.

My macbook randomly didn't freak out as much. Now my trackpad isn't too responsive, especially to gestures.

Are we talking about actual "physical" clicking (when you press down on the trackpad hard enough to "click")...or are we talking about "clicking" when you simply "tap" on the trackpad to "click"?
