Copy update on 2nd computer

Hi,
I am updating my iMac at work to 10.8. I am wondering if I can make a copy of that download and install it on my iMac at home. Both machines are now running 10.6.8.
I personally own both computers. Problems ??

There are no problems of legality doing it since Apple allows you to install it on the Macs you own. However, it would be best to create a bootable install USB flash drive of the download before installing it on either machine. You'll need an 8GB flash drive and instructions which are readily available through an internet search. The flash drive can then be used to install ML or reinstall it in the future if needed.

Mr.chscag, hello again... I was able to both download ML to my iMac at work and as you suggested, I made a bootable USB drive with the update before I installed it. The install was easy. ..Question is, what is the procedure to install the copy of ML onto my other iMac at home...i.e. admin problems, etc .Thanks P.S. on my work machine I'm, Pixl8er at home I'm TimBuk2
