Nasty OS X Bug - Crash any app that uses native text controls

Stumbled on this bug report earlier this morning. If you type "File:///" (without the quotes and with proper case) into a textbox that uses native Cocoa controls, the app will crash. This includes (but is not limited to) Spotlight, TextEdit, Mail and Safari. Interestingly, if you choose to report the issue, Crash Reporter will also crash since it can't handle that string. I suppose this isn't a huge issue since no one really ever types that string (or uses the lowercase version) but interesting and troublesome nonetheless.

Some have suggested that this has to do with OS X's spell checking. It "works" here on Mountain Lion. Any one test this out on Lion?
