wet keyboard

my keyboard got wet and now some keys don't work. its been 24 hrs. any ideas will be appreciated. also does anyone know if the tune up my mac service is worth anything thx

If you're referring to the keyboard on a MacBook or MacBook Pro, your troubles may just be beginning. The logic board sits directly below the keyboard on Apple notebooks. Please read our Sticky Post regarding spills in the "Apple Notebooks" forum.

If it's the aluminum wired or wireless keyboard used on a desktop (iMac) then it may be best to just replace it.

Alas in a week or two the logic board may also fail. Liquid +electronics = death all too often.
