Copy some photographs from imac to ipad

Hi All,

I am very ne to imac and ipad.

Here goes, I have placed all my photographs on my imac and wish to copy some to my ipad. I do not want to move them just copy some so that I can show them to people.

any help, most appreciated.

OK, I'm guessing that this will work same as an iPhone and an iPod, as I don't have an iPad.

Connect iPad to Mac. Open iTunes if it doesn't do so automatically. Click on the iPad icon in the iTunes Sidebar. Select the Photos tab and tick Sync Photos. You should be able to choose whether to Sync your complete iPhoto Library or just particular Albums

If your pictures were in iPhoto or Apreture, I think Photostream handle this easily?
