iPhoto, exporting photo with new name

I renamed 50 photos in an album with descriptive words rather than numbers that are there at import. When I exported the photos to a folder on desktop, all the new names changed back to the numbers. Does anyone know how I can export photos from iPhoto with new names intact?

Hi welcome.
Instead of exporting them, once re-named, put a new folder on your desktop the select ALL the images you want and drag them over to the folder on your desktop

Your method may work too...
On the export window there is an option to select use titles.
Did not notice it before, but easy!
