Hello, I've just joined this forum and I've only had my Mac a few months. I'm also a techy dummy so please be gentle with me.

My problem is this:
I can't delete photos from Photo Stream.
I've followed all the advice on the troubleshooting and support pages and nothing works.

I can delete from my devices and from iPhoto folders but they remain on Photo Stream on the Mac.
When I highlight a photo and press delete button I hear a beep.
If I right click, nothing.
If I try shouting, nothing!

Please help, there must be a way. :[

It's working perfectly here.

Try this:

1. Run Disk Utility and repair your Mac's permissions.
2. Open iPhoto holding down the option and command keys at the same time and check all the options in the repair dialog that comes up. Let it do it's thing.

That should fix the issue.

I'm afraid I don't understand 1.
2. does nothing, maybe I'm pressing the wrong keys or at the wrong time.

Surely someone in the world knows how to do this!?
