Hi guys,
I am using a 2010 MBP with the large built in trackpad. I am using bootcamp to run Windows 8.
I have recently started using SolidWorks, a 3D CAD program. It includes a feature whereby holding the middle mouse button and dragging, you can rotate the part you are working on in 3D space.
I am aware of keyboard combinations such as shift+arrowkeys which can be used to rotate the part by set increments, but I would love to be able to use the middle mouse button.
I currently have it set up so that I can right click by using the bottom right corner of the trackpad. Ideally, I would like to be able to activate middle-click by holding down a key and then dragging with the left click. Is there any way this is possible, or any easy alternative other than buying a 3-button mouse?
Thanks for your help. I can provide any further info if necessary.
