Is it okay to clean the MacBook Pro screen with wet wipes? I have heard there are certain chemicals in some of these that can damage the screen.

I just use a microfiber cloth or eye glasses cloth to clean. No liquids what so ever.

Generally - water will not remove oil.

I've been using klear products since my first LCD laptops (late nineties). They have microfiber cloths as well as full up cleaners. I know officially you aren't supposed to spray your screen - and if you don't want to - then get the wet nap type cleaners from klear. It has the same cleaning agents. That being said - I've been spraying LCD screens with their products - and have never had a problem - but I may be a dare-devil.
