I suspect one of my neighbours is piggybacking my wireless router. How can I ascertain this? (I am using a mac mini with snow leopard). How can I block piggybackers?

A good strong password is a good place to start.

An internet search on your topic ("How to avoid wireless piggybacking.") is a great place to start as well:;)

Thanks that's helpful - how can I find out if this has been going or not? (All the instructions I can find are for windows machines).

Like I suggested earlier. The first thing you can do is setup a "strong" password on your router. To do this...dig out the instruction manual for your wireless router.
