Hello, im going to California in the summer and im intending to buy a Macbook Pro 13" as it is costs £200 less. But, i have a few questions
1) Will i actually be able to use it in the UK
2) Will UK software be compatible
3) Will UK hardware be compatible
4) Is there a charge getting it through the customs
5) Is VAT included in the price
6) Is there an issue with the watt usage?

Thanks so much!

The only thing you'll need to change is the charging adapter (not the whole thing, just the part with the two prongs on it, which slides off, and needs replacing with the three-pin UK version).

There won't be a £ sign on the keyboard (use Option+3 instead).

There won't be a charge getting it through customs unless you bring it through in it's original box - get rid of that and just carry it through in your hand-luggage.
