my macbook has a sleep problem. sometimes when i shut it, it wont sleep. i can tell because the sleep light stays on but doesnt do the brightness change thing. i can hear the optical drive do the thing it does when it comes out of sleep every few second. a weird thing about this is that it only does it when the battery is fully or close to fully charge. and i tried clicking sleep in the menu bar, no luck. i have no idea if the "service battery" photo below has anything to do with this but i posted it just incase

If you're battery has failed/is failing and your Power Saving settings are set to 'never sleep on mains power' that's your issue.

Change your Energy Saving settings and try again
