Hello I own both a mac book pro and a mac book both have the database software Bento . however I'am trying to sync the same database on both the laptop and the mac but it is not working no matter what I do. I figured out the problem it is that the mac book pro is running on version 3.06 and the mac book itself is running on 4,1,3 and the mac book pro laptop can't update any further . any ideas how to make the software sync with each other , or how to downgrade the 4.1.3 software on the mac book

The only reason Bento wouldn't be able to be upgraded on your MBP would be that you are running too old a version of OS X.

Upgrade OS X on the MBP to Snow Leopard - link. Then Bento 4 will work on it.

And as usual, make sure you have a backup in place prior to doing the upgrade.
