The left speaker on my MacBook Pro 8,1 is very quiet even when the volume is turned up all the way. Any possible reasons for this? It is still under warrenty. The only problem is, I don't know if it's void because I'm dual booting with Linux.

Works fine...hmm, must be an ALSA bug in Linux.

Thanks though.

You may also double check your audio settings in Linux since it would be separate from OSX also if a program defaults to mono you may only get sound out of one speaker.
