When I am in Firefox my Dock and the top menu hide. I have read forum after forum and have found no solution. I have gone into System Preferences and clicked the correct buttons but with no luck. I have to click on where the Dock is for it to show up. Same for the top menu. If I am surfing the web I can not have the top menu options up (i.e. File, History etc). Please help. What is the fix? I want them up permanently.

Are you using Firefox in full screen mode? If you are, click on the arrows in the upper right hand corner of the screen when the top menu appears. That will reset Firefox from full screen to normal screen where the dock and top menu will always show up.
