Ok so i have a 2007 Macbook, the black one, and recenty someone dropped a cup of water on it :'( i basically gave up on it and after a week or so i went to start it and it booted up with no problems, except for only a few keys on the keyboard work, but thats besides the point. I took it apart and cleaned everything, and now when i turn it on if i leave it alone and dont use it, it shuts off by it self, the windows pops up saying if i want to restart/shut off, etc.

I was wondering if anyone might know whats causing it to shut off by itself.

Thank you,
Dr. Donald Blake

Likely a short caused by the water spill. Water damage sometimes doesn't show up until later on.
