Does anyone know what cable to connect a MacBook to an Apple TV.

It is designed for a computer connect to the Apple TV via wifi.
The only input port is ethernet.
Haven't tried it, but don't believe you'll be able to do anything connecting to the micro-USB unless you have Apple's custom tech software.

That micro-USB is for support and service - don't think you can do anything with it from your computer.

You can restore the AppleTV firmware and jailbreak it (for some models).
