I am using the Mozella Thunderbird email client on my Macbook Pro. Before purchasing the Macbook last week I was using a Windows laptop with the Thunderbird email client.

I also use a Thunderbird Add-On called QuickText Pro. This lets me add a signature to the end of my email by hitting CMD 3 on the Mac. I use a small JPEG image as part of the signature and I have to tell QuickText where to locate the JPEG image. I do this as shown below on the bottom line. The bottom line tells QuickText to look on the Windows C drive in my Data folder, etc.

I don't know why the smily face is appearing after the C drive instead of a :

My question - can someone please tell me how to write the path that includes or points to the Macintosh HD (instead of the Windows C hard drive)?

Thanks! Bill

It is a frowny smily - and is slightly annoying on this forum. If you go Advanced when posting - there are additional Options - including disable smilies in text.

Anyway - Select your picture in finder and hit cmd-i
This will bring up information on your picture - one of the lines under General will be Where -> which should give you the pat to the picture you selected. Generally all your user data will be in /Users/<username> - somewhere.

Thanks for your explanation about the frowny smily and also for your answer to my path question. Have a great week. Bill
