After 28 years with PCs, I bought a Macbook Air over the weekend and am loving it. I am, though, having a peculiar problem. I've installed and used Skype several times but when I reboot, it's gone and has to be reinstalled. Other programs I've installed seem to work fine. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Can you explain a little more?

What should be happening is that you download the disk image, it mounts in Finder.
You drag the skype app into your Applications folder.
You eject the disk image.
You run Skype from the applications folder.

What part of this isn't working?
If you use spotlight (magnifying glass top right) to search for skype after installing is Skype found?
