Curiosity, I can imagine :).

I find this interesting.

Once I get my system, I plan on running a few linux distros in Virtual Box. I don't plan on dual-booting though. Too messy.

I had Yosemite and Windows 7. I decided to try out El Capitan so I upgraded the other partition to Windows 10. Just destroyed my Windows 10 install. I was trying out the "new" disk utility in El Capitan and moved the partition handle to try to expand the Windows install area. It caused Windows to quit booting. No loss as I was experimenting and I will just reinstall it again - or not.

I am currently using bootcamp but I have also used Virtual Box to run Linux. Thinking about trying Parallels. All this is on a 2009 Macbook that I am constantly playing with because it is not my main machine.

And the other 47,000 odd that don't respond don't dual boot.

Various Mac's
Yosemite 10.10.5 and Windows 7 under Boot Camp.

I only use Win 7 to operate 2 home built ham radio SDR transceivers and less often an SDR receiver.

Based upon Macs I see coming in for repairs and upgrades at work, only a very very small percentage of users have another OS installed.
