Hi guys,

Just bought a MacBook Air (second hand from a mate) and wanted to wipe it so it was a fresh install (as a PC sys admin this is the norm to clear a machine).

Followed steps found on the internet to hold Command+R when it rebooted, and selected "Reinstall MacOSx" . Followed the steps, and now it has been hanging on 'To download and restore Mac OS X, your computers eligibility will be verified with Apple. Loading Installation Information"
And the loading circle just keeps spinning -_-

This is my second attempt at this - Any advice on how to get it up and running ?

Thanks in advance :)

Without any further information on which MBA you have (year and model) and what version of OS X was installed, you're not going to get much help.

However, one thing you do need to know..... You will need to obtain your own
Apple ID and not use the previous owner's ID to download OS X. And, you will have to pay for the download as it's not free. Mountain Lion is $19.99.
